Modifications to the Lauri handle

Here are some photos of my Lauri blade handle. The first shows the original handle before modification.

This next photo shows the handle after I made some changes. I removed a bit from the general diameter of the handle and files/sanded the finger grooves in. It fits my hand a lot better and the thumb scallop (on both sides of the handle) close to the blade is great for extra grip and control for different cutting tasks.

I think its great that you are taking the initiative to do all of this in preparation for whatever our future may hold. I often wonder how people really think they will get by when something finally does happen. I mean think about how the average person does not even know the ingredients of a loaf of bread much less how to grow wheat and mill it into flour.
Anyway, Great knife. Did you do the blade meatalwork yourself?

This is great work. Like what Classic Knife Guy was saying, you never know when something like this is going to be necessary (which is why I always keep a gun and extra ammo nearby). Thanks for the pics!
